Remembering Myrtle Martin
It is with great sorrow and shock that we share the loss of Myrtle. Myrtle passed away on October 26th. Her passion for charities and legacy on the mission’s team, Serve The World, has been remarkable. In addition to three mentioned in the obit, she and Art had a long ministry at Camp YDP in Patterson. With painstaking accuracy they tracked the Christmas star gift requests that adorned the Narthex tree. It became a passionate mission tradition at BJ for decades. In 2013 their 50th anniversary was celebrated as was the wedding of Matthew & Beth. But in July 2019 fireworks lit up the sky as tiny Estell was born premature to Heather and Rob. Blessings abound in God’s mysterious ways.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Myrtle's name to Doctor's Without Borders, PO Box 5030, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5030, Bishop Jane's United Methodist Church, 22 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge NJ 07920, or Salvation Army, 95 Spring Street, Morristown, NJ 07960
