God’s Co-op Coat & Winter Clothing Drive
“Go make a difference” We sing it every week; we live it every day!
Throughout September & October, we will be collecting gently used winter coats and clothing for the clients of God’s Co-op. Located in Bernardsville, the Co-op provides food and other items for local residents, including veterans and seniors. Please drop off your donations in the labeled tote by the church’s main entrance doors (South Finley Ave.). (note: We hope to resume the scheduling of servants to distribute food at the Coop as soon as it becomes safe to do so.) Don’t forget to submit Community Service Forms anytime you serve.
Click here for the forms and for more info.
The Co-op is in need of a once a month volunteer to help unload food from the larger Hillside FoodBank. Contact Terri if you can help out
God's Co-Op Food Pantry
This food pantry is an ecumenical effort to feed the hungry in Bernardsville and Basking Ridge. Over 200 individuals and families from our area are served monthly.
God's Co-op primarily serves three distinct and growing populations: veterans living on the grounds of the VA Hospital, local senior citizens, and our underserved hispanic neighbors.
The pantry is in need of helpers. There are many different areas to help; from bagging food, handing out food, donating fresh vegetables, and helping with special events.
We need your help! If you are interested in volunteering please contact Terri Faltas.

Somerset Food pantry back pack program
This program helps about 400 Somerset County students come home from school with something extra. Not homework, but food from the Foodbank Network of Somerset County for home cooking on the weekend.

The Foodbank’s seven-year-old Backpack Program insures students receiving nutritional assistance at school can also enjoy healthy meals on the weekends. Thank you for giving of yourselves for so many in need!

4 times a year we collect food for the Somerset County Backpack program. Please say tuned for the next time we will be collecting for this awesome program.
