Lent Begins Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14 @ 7PM

The season of Lent is almost here! Lent, which actually means spring, is a season of reflection, renewal, and preparation for the celebration of Resurrection at Easter. During this season, we encourage you to consider what activities you would like to adopt that bring you closer to God, and which ones are leading you away from God and need to be weeded out. To help you along your journey, we will have devotional booklets available, as well as calendars with different activities that you can do each day.

The season begins, though, with Ash Wednesday. While it may seem like a somber day, I like to think of it as a healthy reality check: we all came from the dust of the earth, and one day we will return to the earth as dust.
