Our Journey Continues: The Wesleyan Way
WesleyanWay-March.png

Join us on Sundays for continuing sessions of The Wesleyan Way.

Building on previous discussions, Pastor Dave will guide us through this important conversation about how we understand brokenness in a world created good. We'll meet at 10:45 am after the morning service for approximately 75 minutes of thoughtful discussion.

Whether you've attended previous sessions or this will be your first, all are welcome to participate. Each gathering provides a supportive environment where questions and personal experiences help us grow together in our faith journey.

Missed earlier sessions? No worries! You can still join in as we continue exploring our Methodist heritage through meaningful conversation.

Contact Pastor Dave at pastor.dave@bjumc.org with any questions or to learn more.

Journey Through Lent: Finding God in the Desert Places

This Lenten season, we invite you to embark on a transformative spiritual journey as we explore the theme "Wilderness Wanderings: Finding God in the Desert Places."

From Ash Wednesday through Palm Sunday, our worship services will guide us through the challenging yet enriching landscape of spiritual growth, mirroring Jesus's own wilderness experience.

Each Sunday, our sanctuary will evolve visually with a desert landscape display that grows and changes, reflecting our collective journey. Beginning with sand and rocks, we'll progressively add elements representing hope and new life. You'll be invited to participate by adding stones that represent your own wilderness moments, creating a powerful symbol of our shared spiritual path.

Our weekly themes explore different aspects of wilderness experiences: standing firm when everything shifts, discovering covenant in chaos, finding nourishment in hard times, experiencing God's welcome, and embracing generous love. This journey culminates on Palm Sunday as we witness life emerging from the desert landscape, celebrating God's transformative presence in our lives.

Join us each Sunday as we walk this path together, discovering how God meets us in our desert places and leads us toward renewal.

A Journey of Healing: From Lamentation to Praise

To participate in this transformative journey or learn more about upcoming reconciliation resources, visit EPAGNJHealing.com. Let us walk together, through God's grace, from lamentation to praise.

Bishop Janes UMC joins our Episcopal leader and the Greater New Jersey Conference in a powerful journey toward healing and renewal in 2025. This conference-wide spiritual venture invites us to move from wounds to worship through a guided five-month process of restoration and hope.

The journey began in January with "Naming the Woundedness," where members shared prayer requests—anonymously or named—through an online form. These prayers were lifted up in February by a dedicated team of prayer warriors, including our Bishop, Cabinet members, and clergy and laity from across our conferences.

Mark your calendars for March 22 at 10 AM, when our district's Lenten Communion and Healing Service will be held at Montgomery UMC. This sacred gathering offers a space for community healing and spiritual renewal.
