INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK OF SOMERSET COUNTY

An interfaith ministry that provides shelter at member churches, meals, and assistance to homeless families, and single women.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
  • Funding: 
  • Hands on: 
    • Volunteer to set up and take down beds, deliver beds to the next church, prepare meals, and provide fellowship opportunities in the evening or overnight supervision. (908-766-1108 Ext. 0)
    • Donate needed items. Check the IHN wishlist on church bulletin board or visit www.ihnsomconj.org.

A homebuilding project in Bernardsville for needy families.

SAMARITAN HOMELESS INTERIM PROGRAM (SHIP)

An interfaith ministry centered in Somerville, NJ, which cares for homeless families and individuals in Somerset county.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
  • Funding: 
  • Hands on: 
    • Volunteer to work at a holiday event for the homeless (908-725-3260)
    • Donate Men’s clothing (908-725-3260)
UNICEF-UNITED NATIONS INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FUND

Provides emergency assistance such as drinking water, shelter materials, clothing, blankets soap, cooking utensils, seeds, tools, medicines and drugs throughout the world.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
  • Funding: Encourage your youth to collect money for UNICEF at Halloween. (908-766-1108 Ext. 4)
FOOD BANK NETWORK OF SOMERSET COUNTY

Distributes contributed food to disadvantaged people via several local food bank locations.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
  • Funding: Support our Tower Club Christmas tree sale
