The ministry of Bishop Janes Church is powered by prayer. EVERY SUNDAY MORNING, prior to worship, the Staff comes together to be led in prayer by Mary Jo Buchanan. Prayer is offered for each staff member, for the worship service and for the education and youth ministries, and for the congregation as it gathers to worship. (Following this prayer time, the choir – whether it’s Chancel, Bells, or GodSent – is led in prayer prior to worship. This prayer time asks God to provide power for the morning services and events.Invitation: anyone who feels called by God to pray with this group is welcome to come to the conference room at 9:00 AM If the group is blessed by having numbers to large for the conference room, we’ll find another location in which to pray together. |
