The Music Ministry of BJUMC gives life to our mission statement, “Building a Community in Faith, Fellowship and Service” by offering programs which strengthen the worship life of the community through music. We offer growth and fellowship opportunities through the graded choir program, through Music Ministry-sponsored church fellowships, and by providing service to this community of faith through prayer to our shut-ins. Our outreach to the larger community is facilitated through our participation in community ecumenical events, supporting the annual Christmas Tree Sale, and ministering to residents of assisted living communities and nursing facilities.

Adult Chancel and Bell Choirs

BJUMC Adult Choir News – The 2010-2011 choir season continues and we need YOU! Music reading is not required…simply come to a rehearsal ready to learn and have fun! Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings – the Bell Choir meets at 6:30 p.m., and the Chancel Choir meets at 7:30 p.m. We especially need women (both sopranos and altos). We’ve got an exciting year planned, including another musical in the Spring!

The rehearsal schedules are slightly changed,
so check below so you know when you’ll sing:

Wesley Boys Choir      –  Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. (Grades 2 thru 5)

Wesley Girls Choir      –  Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. (Grades 2 thru 5)

Adult Praise Choir       –  Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.

Heaven’s Grace           –  Sundays from 5:00 until 6:00 (Grades 6 thru 8 )

Godsent                       –  Sundays from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. (Grades 9 thru 12)
