Fundraising

In order to support our missions the U.M.W. host several fundraising events and programs.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR/WINTER MARKET

In December, the U.M.W. holds its largest fund-raiser in Wesley and Melick Halls.  Many of the items offered for sale are seasonal, handcrafted, and home-baked and include jewelry, treasures from Grandma’s Attic, and items donated from the community and church members for a Silent Auction. This event also features a fresh homemade lunch, starting at 11:30am.

RUMMAGE SALE

A rummage sale is held each spring.  Donations of household items, books, toys, furniture, etc. may be dropped off in Wesley Hall beginning on the Sunday prior to the sale.  Volunteers are needed to help sort and price items during the week as well as on the days of the sale and to clean up.

CLOTHING SALE

A clothing sale is held each September.  Donations of clean and gently-used clothing for men, women, children and babies, including coats, shoes and accessories may be dropped off in Wesley Hall beginning on the Sunday prior to the sale.  Volunteers are needed to help sort and price items during the week as well as on the days of the sale and to clean up.
