Homespun Holiday Preparations Begin Now!
The UMW Homespun Holiday Bazaar will again be held in conjunction with the Winter Market on December 2nd and preparations are under way. Many hands are needed to make our biggest fundraiser a success. Please consider helping in any or all of the following ways:
Grandma’s Pantry: Donations of sugar, jelly-size 4 and 8oz canning jars and regular size lids are needed and may be left on the table in the church kitchen. If you would like to donate garden vegetables, fruit, or your own canned item please contact Bonnie Artell (click name to email) or 908-766-0793.
Silent Auction: Donations of any new items that might be assembled into a themed gift basket or items such as theater or sporting tickets or gift certificates to local area shops and restaurants.
Home-Crafted Items: Donations of anything handmade – this might include anything knitted or sewn, artwork, woodwork or handmade Christmas items. Especially popular are items that have been repurposed.
Jewelry Boutique: donations of jewelry or jewelry related accessories may be left in the designated basket in the church office beginning September 1st. For questions contact Krista Colwell (click name to email)
Attic Treasures: donations of like-new or gently used holiday items, including dishes, glassware, household items, stationary, new toys or games may be left in Edith’s Closet located in Wesley Hall. Contact Chairperson Karen Hayworth (click name to email)
