Growing is an essential part of being a Christian.  From the moment we become a Christian, we start growing in our faith, and growing never stops.  It energizes and challenges us to fulfill God’s purpose in each of us and as a body of Christ.  Growth can happen in many different ways.  Here are some of the opportunities.

+ Children and Family Ministry

Children and Family Ministry provides opportunities to grow in faith through wide variety of classes, worship services, special events and mission projects for Infants through Grade 5 and their families.  The program includes regular Sunday School education classes, activities that guide and nurture the deepening of our faith and opportunities for Christian fellowship.

+ Youth Ministry

The youth ministry at Bishop Janes UMC provides a space for youth in grades 6-12 to experience community within the church. Our program seeks to give youth the opportunity to experience social, spiritual, and service activities throughout the year. We meet weekly on Sundays (usually right after the Connection service) for varying activities.

+ Small Group Ministry (S.A.L.T.)

Imagine a place where everybody knows you. Imagine a place where people will laugh, cry and pray with you.

SALT group is just the place!  SALT Groups provide places where you can experience that kind of community.  We believe spiritual growth happens best when you’re connected in authentic relationships with God and others.

Think of it as linking up with traveling companions for your spiritual journey.
