The U.M.W. will be holding their annual rummage sale on Friday, April 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 23rd from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in both Wesley and Melick Halls. We appreciate your donations of clean, saleable items including housewares, vintage items, toys, games, sports equipment, pet items, kitchen items, furniture, books, electronics, etc. Please let your friends and neighbors know we appreciate their ‘white elephants’ as well. Donations from Church and community members will be collected starting Sunday, April 17th through Thursday, April 21st in Wesley Hall (below the Sanctuary). Please note: we cannot accept infant and child car seats, strollers, encyclopedias, outdated textbooks, records, VHS tapes, large TV’s, clothing or exercise equipment.
We need volunteers all week and the days of the sale, including clean-up. A sign-up sheet is on the U.M.W. bulletin board or contact Karen Hayworth (908) 766-5657 , or Linda Cargo (908) 903-1834 . We do have fun and hope you will join us for as many or few hours as you can spare.
Proceeds from the sale will be used for mission projects both locally and globally, with focus on ministry with women, children and youth. Thank you for your support!
